FUN-gility

This class is great for all dogs of any ages at any obedience level

Dog agility is a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course such as a tunnel, teeter-totter, tire jump, weave poles, pause table, and standard jumps. FUN-gility is not about the race, time or accuracy. It’s about having fun and communicating with your dog.

The athletic challenge:

  • keeps a dog fit

  • helps prevent obesity

  • increases endurance

  • strengthens bones and joints 

  • agility course exercises a dog's mind

  • opportunities to learn and solve problems

  • agility training will also help you keep in shape!

Offered as single classes or part of the membership program which is any 4 classes per month from 8 different classes.

Farm Dog

Sniff and Search (nose work)

This class is great for all dogs at any age and any obedience level

​

Description:

Benefits for the dog include physical activity, mental stimulation and confidence building. For both the dog and the handler, sniffing constructively is a great way to bring their relationship to the next level. In fact, Sniff and Search is being used more and more to provide enrichment for dogs in shelters.



Benefits of Sniffing and Searching:

Dogs can be passionate about the benefits of scent work and believe it’s a positive experience for dog and handler. We’ve seen shelter dogs and timid dogs gain confidence from participating, while also observing improvements in their behavior and attitude.



Dogs have a sense of smell that’s between 10,000 and 100,000 times more acute than ours! Let them have FUN while doing something they LOVE!

 

The activity of nose use celebrates the joy of sniffing, and asks a dog to sniff to their heart’s content; turning your dog’s favorite activity into a rewarding game. This is terrific for all kinds of dogs, and is a wonderful way to build confidence in a shy dog. Being low impact, it's suitable for dogs of all sizes, ages and abilities as well-a perfect activity for seniors!

This class is great for all dogs at any age; should have foundation skill sets

 

Description:

Enroll in this FUN and rewarding class. You and your dog will be learning new skills that are both tricks and can be very useful skills. Why not earn a brag worthy title for it?​

Tricks for Pics

Do you want to take super fun and Instagram worthy pictures with your dog? Teach your dog how to pose for pictures and selfies.

 

Description:

This is a 2-week class.

Enroll in this FUN class, perfect to learn a few tricks that will come in handy when asking your dog to pose for photos. 

  • Social Media posts will get extra attention

  • The tricks also add valued skill sets

  • Fun to show off to your friends

  • The tricks also add valued skill sets for everyday life

  • ​Appropriate for dogs of any age and size.  Dogs should know basic “sit” and name recognition prior to attending this class
